Nebr_Rex, are you sure about the drive chain being much closer to the centerline on the twins? For instance, the 750LTD both twin and four cylinder came with a 130 rear tire. If the four cylinder trans was wider, then wouldn’t the rear tire have to be offset on one of the models?

If you reread my post I stated the KZ400/440s, I have no practical experience with the KZ750Bs.
