Looking for ideas , I have a 1980 Ltd 1000 , I don’t have the silencer so I can’t put the stock tool tray , wondering if someone has used a tray from a different model or does the tool holder from the 900 somehow fit . Thanks ahead of time

This sounds like something that someone with a 3d printer could custom make. Despite all the hype, there are remarkably few useful things that can be 3d printed; this may just be one.

3D printing is definitely an option.
I have printed many items for my bike projects.

  GPz550D1 tool tray...

 GPz 550D1 Air filter retainer...

 Document box...

 GPz1100 Instrument cluster cover...
