Kz1000 frame was created by Samminorwich
Hi my frame rear is toast has anyone got a frame which I could use as a donor part so I can rebuild my frame from the rear shock mounts back
or possibly a complete frame for a kz1000A or late kz900
I purchased a right lemon from a bike importers with bent frame no engine serial number plus completely siezed engine with broken off bolts and major parts missing now I have a choice scrap everything buy a push bike or try to salvage the mess I am in , had bikes since 1978 and  never ripped anyone off even built a bike for someone for free as I felt sorry for them loosing their bike
Anyways any help parts or a good chapter in the bible lol

Yes you guessed right in 40 years of biking never been riped off like this before , they seriously thought the bike was a project lol , ebay removed my negative feedback from DK request !!!
so bent frame no serial number on engine , they took off the alt rotor and left the broken bolt in tbe crank , wiring harness is toast
I am not happy about it didn't mind the siezed engine my last bike was siezed and i rebuilt it but 1500 pounds for basically a tank two wheels half an engine no bright work no clocks or wiring no foot pegs , I costed out the project as a bike described honestly not hiding serious problems
so I didn't cost having to buy engine casings and or new frame or repair , I am working on the frame myself with a fix or junk approach I am happy with what I have done but from the rear shocks to the back needs replacing
I was going to try to make a original kz1000 but now perhaps a toecutter madmax bike so I don't need to hide all the work I have had to do
Love bikes they are a destruction from life sucks

There is a frame for sale on UK ebay right now, if you just drop  "Kawasaki kz1000ltd frame 1979"  into the search, the frame is a ringger but its going for £140, i was going to buy it to repair a frame i have but its just too out of my way here in Ireland. the exhaust mounts are in good shape and you could nearly get your money back on reselling those.

Just FYI. That has to be a restamp or someone welded “A” rear hangers on. The number is for a 1979 Kz1000 LTD. The rear hangers say “A”. Worth  the price though for a project bike.

Its 100% a restamp, they ground off the original with and angle grinder and stamped the new numbers with a blacksmith hammer.
