New master brake cylinder + lever? was created by Johio
Hello
I have a 79 kz400 and I have kost the brake power. The lid of the brake fluid is leaking even tough i have replaced the seal.

Does anyone have a recomendstion about a replacement maste brake cylinder + lever? Something that fits with good quality?

Ebay has new ones for about $20 but can you trust the quality?

Best regards

A Z1 OEM or repo MC would be a good replacement.

Master cylinders are extremely simple devices.  Just about any master with a 14mm bore will work on your bike.  If you have a mirror connected to the master be sure the new master has the proper threaded lug attached.

The KZ400 MC is the same as the Z1 MC.
