I'm debating about buying this bike...the guy says its ZX10 forks/rear swingarm, but I did a look through the years of ZX10 and ZX11, and I do not see rear swingarm or forks and front fender like the KZ shown here....does anyone know what the forks/wheels/rear swingarm and wheels may be from? I'd like to buy the bike, but would also like to know what the components are off...so when it comes time to buy brake pads, tires, etc. at least I have a clue what the hell they are... lastly, does anyone have any input whether they think this was a decent upgrade in suspension /wheels? or am I taking a chance buying? apreciate any and all feedback...thank you....

I'm bettin it's because you're using the "Back" button to go fetch the pics.
Use the "Insert" button to turn a thumbnail into a full size picture in your post.

I believe the forks/wheels/swingarm to be first gen Bandit or GSXR. The swingarm has a home made brace on it.

Don't be ridiculous! It's only a flesh wound!

Looks like an 86 zx 10 front end .Havent figured out the rear yet. Looks like the rear-set brackets are from an 86 too.

Those wheels look like they are 16 inch, if that's the case, they look like GPZ1000RX wheels, swingarm looks like early GSXR750, wheels are definitely not GSXR...

Yeah, that colour, and the turn signals are not my cup of tea. That said, the Kerker looks to be in good shape. I'd buy the Kerker and take the bike with it.

Wheels and swingarm im sure are off a 1986 gsx-r750 the rest are off a gpz 1000rx like 750r1 said. Buy it sell all the other parts to collectors who would appreciateĀ  them and start afresh. Has the shock mounts been cut off? ps. its been a while since iv posted, what happened to the spell check feature? im dead in the water without it....

If you like the direction the previous owner took with the modifications, then he may have saved you a good bit of money. Still, since it has been off the road so long, you will be facing all of the routine maintenance, rebuilding the carbs, a new battery and new tires at the very least. It may also need new drive chain and sprockets, the hydraulics may need rebuilding, and unless you can closely inspect it, you will be gambling that the engine is ok. How much are you willing to gamble?
