Stock Handlebars on 1979 KZ1000LTD? was created by kz1000kz650
Just trying to find out what are the stock handlebars.....Daytona Tour Style?.........European Style?.........Z1 KZ900 Style?.....or others?
I know they are 7/8", but just looking for the stock setup.

The LTD bars 1976 thru 1980 were all pretty similar, a bit of rise and angled back quite a bit. I always compared them to wheelbarrow handles, although that is a bit of an exaggeration. I have never used the stock bars on any of the three LTDs I've owned, I found them uncomfortable . However the new owner of my 1976 installed the stock bars that went with the bike and likes them, to each his own!

My personal Favorites are K&N. I think they are called SuperBike Bars. They are black chrome and have about a 2 1/2" rise and about 3" pull back. I dont know if they are still available.

Superbike bars are very popular on KZ 1000s
I run Clubman bars from Airtech. I run the wider ones plus welded on 1 inch extra to the end of each side.
I install them upside down so not to be all bent over the bike while riding .
Pretty comfortable this way and look great.
Here is a picture of my bike (78 LTD ) with stock and my Clubman setup
