Proper chain cleaning was created by Mikaw
I’m in the process of maintenance and detail work on the rear of my ‘78 kz1000 B2. My question is, how to clean the chain. It has very few miles but it’s several years old. I have cleaned the black off the sprocket twice recently and it quickly returns. How can I properly clean the chain to remove all the grunge to help the sprocket stay clean.

A few more photos because I know how much everyone like motorcycle porn.

And to Z1kzonly thank you for the lead of Tripp Plating. They just did a batch of hardware for me. Some for the 1000 B2 and some for the 76 kz 900 A4 that’s almost ready to start the assembly.
