I have a kz 1000j with air forks . Would like to eliminate the air operation and operate like standard forks.

Progressive 11-1110

In 2014, also junked the original rear air shocks with 12.5" (vs.13.5") Progressives, and have never looked back.

I plugged the air-ride hole in each fork with a tiny set screw w/sealer to eliminate the the hideous air-balance apparatus no-longer needed above the lower triple tree bracket.

Edit. My mistake. The 83 1000-J3 had the air balancer. He didn't say the year & I just looked at the J1/J2 fork diagram. doh.

I prefer Sonic springs over Progressive. The (former) owner is a member of The GS Resources and a really stand up guy. He knows his stuff.
