80 KZ1000ST/E2 seat was created by Chico 80 1000-E2
I have a 1980 KZ1000ST/E2. Originally a barn find. Got it about 80% completed; however, finding a seat or seat pan for this beast is like finding a needle in the haystack. I'd like to stay away from chopping the frame. Really, I want to keep the cool rear fender/fairing.

Any suggestions on where to find this item. Thanks

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHere's one from EB, but I don't know if it's actually a 1000E seat. The seller says he thinks it's from his 1979 1000 ST cafe.
If you can find a photo of the correct seat, you could compare the underside.
From Partzilla the 79-80 E1/E2 models had the same seat. The king/queen foam & cover could be replaced.

Thanks for your help Martin_csr. Ill give the owner a heads up. You're correct. 79/80 STs had the same seat. I still have the foam pad & the cover. If it's the same pan...we're in business.
Thanks again.
