both, the z1 frames were really flexible and under stress the newer frames up to 80 would also move. the j motor frames came braced. not the best but braced. bracing the frame is beneficial to anyone who wants more rigidity not just for wheelies or all out racing. while cracking wasnt super common it does happen around the head stock.

The blue frame was from my 74 z1,yeah they have cracking/flexing issues even with a mild amount of hp.
Stuff a turbocharged 1385 motor in there with a nitrous bottle on top of it and things get really ugly really fast. :laugh:
The black frame is a 77 900 I was doing to replace somebody elses bent 76 900 frame for a dragbike here locally but he ran out of money it may end up being slightly mondernized replica of bob carpenters old pro stock 900 B)

Well I got the pictures printed off ,just cant get it to post on here for some reason. :blink:
Ive got the pictures laying on top of my fax machine if anybody wants me to fax them to them let me know,or I can forward the file to anybody who wants it B)
