77 750 bolt kit was created by got12narow
I've found kits on the net for other makes and models, but I can't find any for mine. Anyone know where/if I can purchase a kit of bolts to replace the stock/visible bolts on my KZ750? It was neglected forever and has many rusted or chewed up heads.

Thanks in advance,

Adam

I was just hoping for an easy out. A pre-made kit, without having to drill down the size of each individual bolt. Oh well, I'll have all winter.

Thanks,

i thought the 750 came out in the 80s, just the 650 earlier, oh well, learn something everyday:laugh: , i have seen some nice bolt sets by "wise guy bolts" i believe, check out ebay or the archives...oh, i think Z1Enterprises carries nice bolt sets too(stainless?), check out the links section under parts, Z1 is last, but not least by any means;)

The famous 750 four vs 750 twin confusion :D

I have seen bolt kits for the 750 twin on eBay, and I think Z1 Enterprises has them listed also.

What's really confusing is when someone says "I have a 1980 750 LTD", well so do I, but mine is a 750 LTD twin :)

I found a local place here that has a limited selection of metric bolts. I just replaced my bolts on both my sidecases, and points and dynamo cover on my kz 650. Let me know what you are looking for. I think I can get hex head cap bolts or the allen head type (black). I went with the black on mine and then painted them lightly to prevent rust. I think they go for about 30 cents a bolt. If you send me one bolt of each type you want I could find the size and hopefully get you what you need.

Thank you. I think I'll proly wait until the winter to get down and dirty with it. Z1 has a package of 68 stainless bolts to replace all of the visual bolts on the engine, covers, etc. It runs around 27.00 for anyone that's interested. Just as was suggested by 77KZ650 check the links under SITE FUNCTIONS. It's amazing the knowledge that our members and this site share.

Thanks Again,
