Pterosaur, where do you come up with these photos?

Well, it's not so much where as how....

And speaking as one with cranial proof that Terra IS Firma...

See what I mean.

If anyone is offended I apoligize. I was a little slaphappy last night and couldnt resist.

Seriously though shaving the motorcycles seat down can get the bike much lower. You can see before and after if you click on the blue bikes picture in my signature line.

The Spectre I had, had the seat shaved down and gave a ride height of about 28 inches. Quite a dramatic difference from stock. A shaved seat would be my first try and then shorter shocks if you need more drop.;)

Thanks everyone for all your help.

I think I'll try the seat trick. I CAN reach the ground with my toes but I'd like to be able to put both feet flat on the ground at the same time. You know, when I'm backing up (just until I find the Reverse gear).

The pictures were great! I'm not posting any picture of the crack of Dawn. hahaha

Agawam - I'm in Pembroke MA, near Marshfield, Duxbury - just about between Boston and the Cape. - little closer to the cape. Thanks for the offer but like I said, I'll try the foam trick.

Thanks again all.

Hey Dawn,
Glad to hear back from you! I thought for a while that we had scared you off, but I see you have a healthy sense of humor and can take our sophomoric joking.
Good luck finding that elusive Reverse gear!!

Hey Dawn. Here is a pic of my ride with about 2.5-3 inches trimmed off the seat foam. The added bonus to having your feet be able to comfortably touch the ground it also prevents the sliding backward when you snap the throttle open.
