If you get the LTD controls and route them through the handle bars there are really no visible wires and you can maintain all the goodness of the clutch lockout and high beam capabilities.

Other stuff I have considered removing are the starter and battery and then go kick only with a battery eliminator. I figure I could drop 25 or so pounds, maybe more! I say “considered” as I am kind of an old fart and the old girl is hard to start on cold days. I don’t want to give myself a coronary kicking her over in the morning.

i always hook the safety switch wires to a toggle switch under tank,cheap anti theft device wont start even with key if switch is turned off.;)
