i went diggin through the archives for sprocket set ups. i am running a 79 650d, i'm tip the scale at almost 260lb. plus i'm a little over 6'2".

for highway cruizing stock 16 front and dropping to a 38 rear really helps? drops the rpms alot?

what about light to light blasting. 15 front? & 44 rear. or does doing that pull the front up to easy?

15 front 46 rear will wheelie when power shifting second at 8000. I know that for sure. Have fun:evil:

I just did the 16/38 on my 650.
I think it made a huge difference in dropping the RPMs.
I can cruise the interstate all day (if i had to).
And the bike still takes off real nice from a stop.
