Will 650-E1 forks fit a B1? was created by 77_650B1
I've got a 77 KZ650B1, and I'm wondering if the forks off a 1980 650 LTD will fit it. All I'm concerned with is the length, diameter, and whether a wheel from a 650 custom will fit as well. Thanks. If they fit, I'll be getting them and putting them in my original triple tree and also getting an alloy wheel for the front. Just want to know what to do, as I cant find much literature on the subject and couldn't find any on here.

Never seen it done before. Are the diameter the same? The forks are probably longer too.

OK, I looked at the parts diagrams, and they both share the same upper and lower steering stems (tripple clamps), so the diameter is the same. The forks are a different part number, so are probably a different length.
