I made this up yesterday it is still real cold here But feel it is better than sitting in the house , I used the tail light off my Parts bike a 1982 750 LTD So what do you think ??

Looking good!
Did you cut the tail piece?(right above the shock)
(how did you get such a huge pic though?:blink: i thought max width was 640)

If the tail peice is cut I didnt do it , that is the way I got it ,, The Photo was run through Photobucket first so I am not sure ,, Computers are not my thing

Looking good so far Shoe. The tailpiece is that way, nothing cut on yours. Keep us posted on your progress.

If you modify your posts, you can change the size (they are too big). You'll see img=800 in brackets (not sure what your number will be). Just change the number to a lower number. 600 usually works good for me.

It looks OK, but my question is and has always been, why remove the fender? Is that 1/2 lb metal object really hurting anything or the 1/2 lb noticably weighting down the bike???

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Aesthetics. I remove the rear fender on all of my bikes too because I hate the look of them. We all know you like stock bikes but hey, you might as well get used to bikes that have parts removed and/or upgraded cause you're outnumbered with this "They are perfect stock" outlook on things man.

It is all welded together ,, the licence plate holder comes right off the rear fender support , I just used what I had in the garage ,, I will try to take some pictures of just the bracket and tail light for you ,, Shoeman:)

nice!! Fender is killer, makes me regret cutting mine off. Keep posting progress, Im curious what your gonna do with the handle bars.
