Wheels on a KZ650C

I found a GS1100E swing arm finally If I wanted to install a wider rim what would it be off of ? Also If I wanted spoke wheels and keep my double brakes on the front would KZ1000 wheels fit/ Are the rim widths are the same as stock KZ650c mags ,, ?? :whistle:

650 and 76 - 78 900/1000 use the same front hub for wire wheels,you can use 1000 rear hub and just make spacers to match new swingarm. :whistle: goodluck,happy wrenching!

did they have 4 bolt rotors ?

Shoe, I think your gonna have to go to a newer bike for a larger rim size. The 900/1000 use the same size rims as the 650 I believe. The front is 19 and rear is 18 arent they wireman ? I did get a 130/90/18 to fit onto my rim off a 78 KZ650C2 . The C2 has the mag wheels front and rear. My rear disc had the four bolt disc and the front has the six bolt disc's . Wayne

Thanks for the info ,, you are right about the disc brakes Tower - monkey , 130 is not bad , Chrome spokes do look nice though But will see what turns up ,,

yep stock wire wheels are 19" front,18"rear a 650 wire front wheel should also be 19"if it has 4 bolt rotor you should be set,Z1 had 6 bolt front rotor. goodluck,happy wrenching!
