Or you can make some with bar-end weights and the mirror of your choice...

This is what I got for my bike... they were originally designed for bicycles but I've been told they work well on motorcycles too... Just about any decent bicycle shop carries them for around $14.00... check out their very basic website.

I got a couple notes on the "policing" comment. Come on guys... Stein has set up rules. If you want to play in his playground, live with these rules and don't hassle poor Steve about making sure they are followed. Steve is an older guy and harsh comments can cause him to palpitate!

As far as the 3rd eye mirrors... GOOD LUCK... I think all you will see are your arms. You have to get those bar ends out as far as they will go to actually see anything. Check out DennisKirk.com for Napoleon mirrors...

Old Guy!! Look who's talking! :D

I wasn't aware anyone was bugging Steve about enforcing the rules?

No ones bugging me, except maybe WiredGeorge for saying I'm an older guy
I'm unbuggable (I'm pretty sure "that" ones not a word).

Bar end mirrors or regular mirrors, I don't care, I just want some that don't vibrate so bad as to be unusable at speeds over 70 :(

The secret is once your over 70 just move right on up to 110. That way what's behind you no longer matters!

Like my CRG Bar End mirrors. Great visibility if the "fish eye" lens doesn't bug you...

I am useing cheapie bar end mirrors off ebay ,, Emgo brand on my street track , The bike is a single , lots of extra vibs if ya know what I mean , I have had them over 80mph and not really that bad to see out of ,, They are of the clip type not rubber mounted ,, 20 bucks and some change shipped to the house they do look nice on the bike ,, one feature I like about them is they rachet down or up , Makes it nice to get to bike cover on it then rachet them back up to ride , stay in adjustment well too ,The bicycle mirrors look very cool but can you really see out of them.. I am half blind anyway :S But each to there own style and likeing ,, Make the bike yours with your own touch ,, :) That why we are all on this web site B)

steve you do take it all in stride, you would be happy with these mirrors they tighten up alot and fit very snug, they were as I said, about 70 for two shipped to my door, which i think is ok for chrome, I am happy to have sparked such a great discussion on something so seemingly simple. The fact remains that although I am trumpeting the horns for these mirrors, my bike they are on doesnt run yet, so for all I know they could vibrate like crazy!!!!

XCA-

Thanks. That's my 2nd biggest gripe with the Chi-Com mirrors. They are flat surface and view is limited. First gripe is that the mirror surface degrades in a couple of years. Gets all splotcy. The Taiwan mirrors hold up better but all I've seen are flat. Wish someone made a quality die stamped mirror housing with good glass for about 1/2 to 2/3 of the price of the 'billet' stuff.
