counter shaft sprocket

i have been on the phone most of the afternoon try to find someone that carries a 16 tooth front 5/8 offset sprocket with No nose and a 530 pitch to run a 530 chain. i have called everybody i can think of. i need to find one to be able to run my 17 x 5.5 wheel im putting on the back of my kz1000.

if anyone knows were i can aquire one please let me know! so many members have done this conversion theres got to be somebody that carries them or can order them.

Sounds like you need a dragbike type of mod. Try Pingel, MRE, Kosman or any of the drag racing suppliers. APE an KZZone are others.

i have. pingel is the only one i didnt get to before they closed.i an going to call them tomarrow. even kosman didnt have it. he said that he was going to call were his sprockets are made and try to get a couple made up 14 -17 teeth in the 530. he said in the last couple of months he had had quiet a few request of the same sprocket. i am supposed to call back in two days and see when he can get some made up and out to me. schnitz said they might be able to order it but said it was on back order and didnt know when they would be able to even get them in.

someone here has to be running this sprocket on this site.

there is a 5/8 17 tooth pmfr on ebay right now? search "kz offset".

The only place I could find a 530 offset was at Klasmo in Germany. The link is:

It's not a cheap part and the shipping is a little more coming from Germany, but not really that bad. I've seen some on eBay recently but I don't know where they came from. You may also want to look at www.americanclassix.com . I have noticed that they have recently started to carry a lot of the same parts as Klasmo (mostly from Germany). Good Luck.

The problem i was having was finding one for a 530 chain. star,schnitz,mre,ape,orient,sprocket spec.,even kosman didnt have them. i can get them in the 630 all day long from any of those venders. hadnt thought of pmfr kawtoy (Long time brother how ya been?),thanks i need to look at what they got incase kosman falls through. kosman is makeing a few up special for me but it will be the first week in march before they are supposed to be in. han not tried klasmo either 79mkii. i had never done bizz with them and like you said there over seas so they were a last resort.

now would be a good time to take off work in may so you could make it up to derby kawtoy hint hint.
