I am getting ready to replace fork seals and was looking in my manual and they show a long tool to reach down in the forks to hold while removing the allen bolt at the bottom.. Does anyone have specs or what size socket/allen it takes. I will make something if I know the size..Thanks

im not sure of the allen wrench size but if you have an aircompressor and an airratchet you should be able to remove the allen bolt without the t-handle tool to hold the damper.B) goodluck, happy wrenchingB)

Thanks Rob and Wireman.
Lots of good stuff in those old posts! Gonna cut up a broom handle after dinner. If it doesn't work. I will try to use the impact.

I used a curved piece of tree limb. Ikept it around for several years and finally throwed it out. I got lots of trees. Roy

On my KZ900 it's a round shape with two flats. I bought the special socket from Kaw. I've only used it once. Since then I've always used the impact wrench. It's way faster.
