Sixty inches of fun was created by Lorcan
My streetbike (affectionately nicknamed The Old Boner) is now 59.5" long, only 1.5" longer than stock but more importantly the crank to rear axle distance is up 4" (now 38") and it's a lot lower. Fireblade 16" front wheel, WP shock, cut down seat, sump height is now 55mm, I've got to fiddle around with the shock yet - it will go a bit lower at the back. This is an effort to keep the front wheel on the deck, I'll be adding weights to the front and a larger GT22 turbo rated at 280hp in the next few weeks, first meet will be in April.

Where did the 2.5 inches come from on the crank to axel? I would assume that the arm is 4 over and you have taken 2.5 inches out of front end.

Nice looking bike, but I'd bet any amount you want that my stock Triumph will beat it.

(Of course, all bets are off if you put a chain on yours!) ;)

Cheers,

Good question Les! I got 2" from dropping/strapping the forks. The other 0.5" comes from using ZX11 triples which have less offset.

Looking smart.
Where did you find that nicely fit intercooler?
Also, have you measured the temp drop through it? (edited to add this question)

The intercooler was custom made. I haven't measured the temp drop, but I am fitting a datalogger this year so it would be interesting to see what it actually does on a run (especially a top speed run).

Nice fit.
Would sure like to know datalogger results.
What are you blowing through? Carb? Single TB? ...?

Whoops, I see the injectors so scratch carb from question.
Also curuious as to what you are using in the way of injectors and controller.
