Tokico brake parts was created by NightRider
Hey all,

I am trying to find parts diagrams or numbers for the Tokico brake system used on a 1980 KZ750. I have to rebuild and am looking for the "floating" mounts. I guess they would be the shaft nuts that have a rectangular head and rubber boots that the mounting bolts go through and allow the claipers to return to their original position after releasing the brake. The ones I have now are rusty and make the travel of the calipers stick. Can these be run through a wire wheel and still perform or should I find new bits?

I've looked on ebay and web searches but can't find any help.

Thanks

I cleaned mine up with a wire wheel, after removing the rubber boot, which I also cleaned with soap and water. You'll allso need to get a cotton swab or toothbrush or both and clean the cylinder it slides into. Before reassembling, coat them with a light coating of grease.
