Offset sprockets- since I can't get the search function to work for me!

Generaly, a 3/8 offset on the front can be run alone. A 5/8 offset on front should be run with a support. I've seen both run without, but the load on the output shaft bearing will be quite a bit without the support. Of course, how hard you plan on abusing the rear tire figures in to it too. Street only and it probably would last but any "performance application" could use the help. Call it preventive maintenance and insurance. If you are going this route, the extra cost will be nothing to the peace of mind.
