Leaking Tach Cable was created by jamma
This is just a bit of info...I solved my leaking tach cable on my 1980 KZ1000...I replaced the seal, gasket, and O-ring and still had the leak. Come to find out it was leaking where the plastic cable covering meets the fitting that connected the cable to the engine block. A little bit of "permatex" and a stainless hose clamp cured the problem.
