Minimum electrical required

Hi all, I have a 1977 KZ650 that I am going to rebuild into a bare bones cafe. I do not want to hook up the speedo or tach, and want to move all the bar controls to a switch plate.

What can I do without as far as electrical goes?

What do I do with the left over wires?

Are there any wires that are a "must have" for the bike to run?

Wireman, how did you do that? I think I can make a switch plate to put all the start, turn signal, light switches on, but can I just cap off the hazzard, brights, etc.?

I would like the bare minimum of electrical possible, even removing brights, engine on/off, etc.

One more question, when removing the tach cable from the engine, do I need to cap off the area the cable went into?

wired headlight/taillight to be on when ignition is on.no turn sisnals,no electric start,ignition switch used as kill switch.when it goes back together after this episode hi-low beam switch and 1 of the nitrous arming switches will be wired into panel between gauges.the primary arming switch will be under seat and rest will be controlled by throttle linkage .:evil:
