82 KZ turn signal question? was created by _CrazyHorse_
Since I have owned my bike the rear turn signals have never worked unless the turn signals are on. I don't know if they are supposed to or not while regular running or not. So I thought I would relocate the lights and when I took off the rear light I thought I would test it to see if it would work and neither one would work. They would both work when the hazzard lights were on. Could I have overlooked something?

They don't "light up" steady. They should blink when you switch on the turn signal. The front ones should stay (steady) on - but not the rear.

The front turn signals kinda serve as running lights

Did this change sometime between 77 and 82? The front signals on my 77 (which are not stock) only work as directionals.

I cleaned off the flasher and scraped away piles of rust. Plugged it back in and they worked. Thanks fellas.:)
