Electricuted by my plug wires!

Hi, I was just wondering if it was normal to get zapped by touching the boot over the plug while the engine is running. I got zapped right through my leather rinding glove. Is this a sign of a problem? Also, when my plug wires get wet, my bike stalls. Guess I just need to make sure things are sealed up good. Any recomendations on what to use? RTV? I probably should just get new wires anyway since they are the originals from 1982. Can I just use regular spark plug wire, or does it have to be the kind with a copper or brass wire in the center?

Yes I liked it a lot, that's why I kept touching the plug wires to see if it would do it again!!! It did! On all four wires! 4 times the fun!
And yeah, I like pinhole cameras.

Sorry, I am lmfao invisioning this. I had a Honda Odyssey that had a bad spark plug boot, the wire popped out while going over bumps and kept tagging me on the shoulder, loads of fun :blink:

Anyways, I agree that you should change your wires and boots, getting zapped through the outside of the boot is not a good thing.

you already know there bad! just put a light bulb in your mouth and take many pictures so i can laugh my ass off some more! god i love this sight! it makes me laugh every day!:laugh: :woohoo: :woohoo:
