Down in the outbuilding searching for a specific date coded set of switches. Pulling bags and bags of them out and realized, i've too much stuff. So, anyone still "thinking like me?? I maintain Original and have every part/bit to make such events happen. Seems to not much matter anymore because of all the Aftermarket crap available, although completely incorrect in soo many ways. Soo, maybe incorrect in Category because i would like to SELL some of this stuff/Affordable but might be more of a Conversation to correctness then a Sale?? They had soo many different versions/routing of harness/case pin locators in handlebars, etc. So. a gaggle of 1976 up to 1980 KZ handlebar stuff you "may" be looking for? And way more then what is shown in these two pictures. YES i also have quite a collection of the earlier Z1 72-75 stuff too but not shown because they    are used on the restorations i do.

Crap like this too. ALL about maintaining Originality. Think your rear shocks are shot and ugly? Possibilities are endless using existing hardware. Not crapping on the Fellas swapping ZX this and that just saying, try and sell that bird after You've implemented Your best intentions and mindset, you'll be lucky to fetch 4K for all those best intentions. And if You do decide to wreck-out Your Original, give me a call, i'll buy Your original stuff you don't find worthy before you file it.

asphalt, i would be VERY interested in the switch blocks.
the top half of my left side broke. so i have a chinesium one on there now, and i hate it. I kept everything from before so i can possibly transfer guts. but i would love to have the original/oem switchblocks.

Hey Clay, if you have an opinion on "restore" vs "refresh" don't be shy, "spit it out" :):):):)

Key it would be my pleasure Helping You out, if i had any of the "Newer Plastic" ones. I may have a straggler in a box somewhere but i accel at the earlier cast ones and they are completely different. The KZ700 was a tariff bike and while i'm sure a Great bike, weren't made very long. But I'll bet you they shared the same housing DNA on the likes of the 550 and ZX750's. Might be a difference in wiring harness pin connection location or overall harness lengths but i'd be safe to say the two halves are identical. Wookie...Yes i'm "one" of those rivet counters. But really take pity on me, not an easy row to hoe!! Soo many parts, soo many manufactures, soo many revisions. Someone has to do it though, ha.

No problem, been sitting since i got them from Marty in buffalo, there from a 83 650csr, lots of common interchangeable parts in those days, thought I could use them, on the 81, but I made the lighting switchable, can’t do that with these later switches, and as far as waiting, these won’t cost you but a donation, you can make anytime, all I need is a shipping label and there yours , where are you in Pa? if you want to wait I’ll keep em warm good luck
