I switch over to all LED several years ago. Great upgrade. I had a similar issue with the brake light out sensor unit, (assuming) as the brake idiot light on the IP would lite dimly. I simply swapped back in the incandescent bulb and all was good. It’s the only bulb on the bike not LED.

hi there! id be really intrested in what the part numbers are for this upgrade. i am spoiled by my Honda and its LED everything, and I feel the lights on my 77 are woefully anemic. 

1977 kawasaki kz750 twin.
