The 6-inch headlight on my '79 KZ400H is dead and I need a new one, but 6-inch round headlights are apparently as plentiful as honest politicians...does anybody know a light that will fit in the bucket, or a 7-incher assembly that will fit?

I put a Wagner in, lasted two weeks before developing a short in one of the three lamps' terminals
Put a Sylvania in and that sure lit my path up nicely

I put a 7 inch bucket and headlight off of a kz650 or kz1000 on my kz400. It fit fine from what I can remember 
74 Z1a 900 (Apart and making it better than ever)
77 Kz 650b (Threw a rod, going to sandwich in a 900 or 1000 motor)
76 Kz 400d

I had the same problem and ended up putting in an aftermarket headlamp bucket. I think it was an Emgo.

I just installed one of these on an '83 KZ440 D5 and it slipped right in. Seems to work fine and very bright.
