78 750 Twin electronic ignition help was created by Peanuthead
I've been looking around the forum and the internet to try and find some options on how to convert my 750 from points to electronic ignition.  A few leads have sent me to Dyna S, C5 (which is now no longer making motorcycle parts), and no-name brands on Amazon & eBay.   I happen to find a thread from a 750 Twin site (from 2016) that had 2 more options.  One was from a British company but it would cost me $300+ and their website does not show how to order it.  The other options was to use the electronic ignition from a 440.  Has anyone used the 440 ignition on their 750 twin?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I don't have either of those, but it has been done.  Or get the ignition system from a 750M CSR or 750K Ltd-Belt.  From the diagrams at Partzilla most of the 82-84 750M/K electronic ignition components are the same as the 81-on 440s. I think you'd need the M/K advancer.  There should be some old topics on the subject.  Look for replies by steell or bountyhunter who know a lot about the 750 Twins.
