I’m not sure I want to pirate from the dude from Australia who went to the trouble to make the reproductions. 

If you want to find an OEM and copy it then that’s fair game.

A few years ago I bought the parts from the guy in Australia. No problems with the transaction to the Netherlands. Perfect fit and much better quality than original.

I think to be fair Howard was offering his time and expertise for no personal gain to try and help out so I think the "pirating" reference is possibly a little unfair. I don't think he is looking to go into competition with your supplier (IMHO) 

Yes, I agree the “pirating” connotation may be harsh,regrettably. The gesture to add availability to the community may make it worthwhile. Just wanted to stay on the straight and narrow, as always. If you want I’ll ask if he has a problem giving dimensions for replication.

It seems the dimensions could be estimated. Measure the ID of the cup and OD of the gauge, and subtract/add maybe 2% to take into account intended deformation, if its meant to stretch over the gauge and compress a little in the cup. Scale the exposed width when mounted. Maybe its not that simple, though.

Can you describe the quality and fit?

Hey Daveo,  I purchased a set in May of 2020. Dealt with Neale from Nippon Nirinsha.  They were pricey at $49.90 back then but he spent $21.00 to ship to me in Huntington Beach,CA.

Excellent quality and Excellent fit.  I am still happy I purchased them.

FYI: Resurrecting any 40 year old bike back to original is not cheap and is a labor of love.  I have only ever broke even on most bikes I have resurrected.  Never was recompensed for my meticulous labor. Usually made my out of pocket expenses back but not always.
