High beam indicator lamp was created by Andyp62
another question after all the fantastic help on my previous electric problem which is now sorted out, the blue high beam indicator lamp works with high beam until I plug the actual headlamp into the socket at which point the blue lamp goes off but the headlamp still works correctly,
any ideas please and all my electrical issues will be as Kawasaki intended.

Hi Andy (let's go around the buoy again   "twilight zone faults are normally down to corrosion ( either the connector itself or between the actual wire and the connector)WITH HEADLAMP UNPLUGGED AND IGNITION ON (don't forget to keep a check on the coils to make sure they don't get too hot)
  1. Check battery voltage
  2. With black meter lead on battery negative check for battery voltage on the Red/Yellow at the headlight plug with the left handle bar switch in the "low beam position"
  3. Check voltage on the Black/Red cable at the headlamp connector should be 0v
  4. Now switch to "high beam"
  5. Voltage on Black/Red should now be battery voltage and the Red/Yellow should be 0v
  6. Check voltage at Black/Red going into warning lights, should be battery voltage and Blue warning light should be on
NOW MOVE THE BLACK METER LEAD TO THE BLACK/YELLOW WIRE AT THE HEADLAMP CONNECTOR, AND CONNECT. THE HEADLAMP
  1. Repeat all the above tests and let me know the outcome
