Eliminating all components was created by RobertvdBerg
Hey guys!

I'm thinking about taking all extra electrical components of my steering, and out of the loom.

I don't want blinkers, I want the headlight to burn all the time, and want to have a clean steering bar, with no extra components on it except for the gauges.

Is there a topic, or a wiring diagram for how I can take away all unnecessary wiring without actually killing my Z1000?

It's a '80 model.

Thanks in advance!!

Robert

Simplified wiring diagrams by loudhvx.  kzrider.com/forum/4-electrical/172746-19...r-mattylight?start=0
a few of the diagrams may be missing. pages 11-on seem to have the most diagrams.  Not sure what model you have.
Using an internet search, there's a KZ1000E2 pg 21 of the bare bones topic.  I did not look for any more.

Before going too far down this path, you will want to become completely familiar with your local laws concerning what the motorcycle must have to be registered for use on public roads.

I understand, and I have done! You have to be able to show directions with your hand

And brake light is a must, along with a working headlight.
