Tail Light Runner/Front Brake

Hello all,

I have a 1982 KZ750 LTD (H3). The running tail light is not working and the front brake light does not come on when applied. However, the rear brake works fine. 

I pulled the lens off and both bulbs are lighting up (only when rear brake is applied). 

Appreciate any insight that may be causing the runner and the front brake to not light up.

Hi, bad 12v- to unit, check black/yellow under seat, no ground causes series circuit so both filiments (both lamps?) to light, front lamp, do you mean lamp in tach or dash? that is a function of brake lamp failure unit, should be around fuse solenoid area, little black rubber coated ss relay, 3 wire plug w/ yellow, green/white, and black wires, needs to be plugged in, or tach or dash harness is unplugged or lamp is bad, good luck
