I understand, maybe it’s posdible to have a converter from active to passive...

active sensor - cable - converter to passive - cable - speedo input.

jeje I will look further to see if I find a speedo with active sensor and a look I like...,

 
AFAIK, there are no active to passive sensor converter and vise versa. Buy the KOSO you like and use the sensor that came with the set. Do not complicate the easy things.....

Where do you mount the magnet?

1981 KZ650-D4, with 1981 z750L engine (Wiensco 810 big bore).

Where do you mount the magnet?
I have an active sensor, so i don´t need  any magnets.
For example, You can plug the magnets into hex head of the rotor screws....

I was thinking maybe I can use some of the exsisting wholes in the disc rotor ? How many magnets do you need ?
Se picture below, I see they sell Bolts with magnet included.

Put the magnets into head of your seven rotor bolts and you are fine. So more impulse per wheel rotation, so more accurate your speedo/tach will work!!!
