I’m consider make new harness include switches.

Do you have recommendation for left and right handlebar switches, quality parts?

1981 KZ650-D4, with 1981 z750L engine (Wiensco 810 big bore).

I had to replace the right side switch and used one that looks just like that.  I seem to recall the wires not being an exact match and having to figure which were the correct wires to use.  It wasn't hard, but just took a little figuring out.  That was on a 78 KZ1000.  The replacement has been just fine and looks factory stock.

Wiring will be done all over so that is not a issue, had more question to the quality.

Just an FYI. Those are Emgo brand handlebar controls. Probably made in Taiwan which is a good thing (not china).
The Emgo part numbers are 34-68891 & 34-68892. see pg. 298 in the 2019 General catalog.
