New dry battery was created by gordone
First time I’m prepare dry battery.

I filled it with acid to high level indicated and let it stay for 30minutes and verified level was the same.

Next was to connect the charger, I saw after a while the level have increase to above high level... maybe because of air?

Now is the charger indicate finish charged, but the level is still above high level.

Is these normal?

Guess the risk is that acid can come out under driving, maybe I shall try to suck out some acid....

I did pretty much the same thing last battery and lowered it a little before installing. Due to health I've switch to a Mustang to play with and let my battery go to hell over the last yr. Then a guy down the street buys a 4 cyl and has been slowly killing me by starting it and reving it up getting it ready etc.
