KZ1000P--where does it all go? was created by kz440belted
I'm in the process of exorcising the gremlins out of the wiring my 1993 KZ1000P bike, but I'm getting stumped as to where the voltage regulator, turn signal rectifiers and turn signal cancelling unit attach to. I know some of it attaches to the underside of the battery box, but I'm not sure what goes where.

PS: Although I'm the one that bought it (and wrenches on it), the attached picture shows somebody who thinks HE owns it! (His name is "Da George".)

I fixed your picture Hit insert all next time

Voltage regulator is under the battery box. Look under the right side, just above t he swing arm, where the battery is. The signal canceling unit is also under there. If you need, I can TRY To get a good photo than what I've already done, but it's kinda cramped and I'm not about to go tear my battery box out.

Sorry about the delay in responding. If you could squeeze off some pix, I'd appreciate it! :)

Alright, well, I've got a bad alternator and I'm taking it to a shop to have the rotor, stator, and voltage regulator replaced on Monday. Was supposed to have it done today, but the tow truck broke down and didn't inform me for 5 hours so by the time I found out he wasn't going to make it, it was too late. I didn't want to cancel and ask roadside for a tow from another company because what if the guy was just 5 minutes away when I canceled?

Anyway, I'll take pictures when the bike's up on the table at the shop. I'll also see if I can make a video tomorrow and I can point it out... kinda hard to get a good angle for the camera to see though, but with it on a table on Monday I can get some better lighting.

It's GREATLY appreciated.

I figure, with all the time and effort I've put into fixing the wiring, the last thing I want/need to do is "Tinkertoy" everything into place, and make it look like a bodge job.
