running very lean. fireballs

this is the bike in question,. bike ran perfect

I recently put a new tank and manual petcock on (non vacuum)
installed new battery
AND....took off the wire harness to copy the diagram to wire another bike. put it all back together again not cutting anything or messing with it.

now when I start it its very loud, sounds vicious, like timing is way off. or firing order is wrong. back fires blue flames and pops like gunshots.
bike expresses a lot of heat quickly.

the tank is clean. petcock is clean. double checked made to sure and took apart to clean with fresh gas.
not sure how the firing order works with the dyna coils they orientate dif directions. but I never messed with the plug wires..i think.
it does have dyna coils and ignition. (but these have been on the bike)

is it possible firing order is wrong? or possible the outside coil wires put on wrong?
its not fuel related I think its electrical. but I'm no expert

Yes, it is possible have the firing order wrong and the coil wiring wrong. One oil fires cylinders 1 & 4, the other fires 2 & 3. Which does which depends on how they are wired from the points or pickup coils. The factory service manual for the engine shows how the wiring is supposed to be.

understood, however the dyna coils themselves are shaped differently so theres no (left and right side of the coil)
I don't think I messed with the plug wires though. its frustrating. I just want to ride the bike

The coils do not have polarity in the way you are thinking. Each coil has four wires connected to it. The two large guage (secondary) wires go to a pair of spark plugs. Let's say we are dealing with the 1 & 4 coil. One secondary wire goes to cylinder 1, and the wire goes to cylinder 4. These two wires can be swapped to the opposite cylinder ( 1 wire to 4 cylinder and 4 wire to 1 cylinder) and the bike will run just fine. However, if you switch one of these with a wire for 2 or 3, you will get misfiring and after firing ( flames out the exhust).
The situation is similar with the small guage (primary) wires. There are three colors of primary wires. Two wires are the same color. They should go to different coils. (One to each coil.) The other two are different colors. One triggers the 1-4 coil, the other fires the 2-3 coil. The 2-3 wire must be hooked up to the coil that has its secondary wires hooked up to sparkplugs 2 & 3.

Any update?
An obvious one I forgot is the vacuum port on the carb that the old petcock connected to. It needs to be perfectly sealed with a new plug. Are the others relatively new, too?

Edit: I took another look at the picture, and I see a vacuum port hanging down from the carb holder, so they are not on the carbs. Nevertheless, the caps need to be soft and tight fitting. If they leak at all, the leak will play havoc with the fuel mixture.

P.S. I would be strongly inclined to get a proper return spring for the rear brake pedal. Brakes are important for life.

And that rear brake torque arm mounting is a mess. I wouldn't trust it at all.

We're curious about the hammer/hatchet/pry bar tool...

The backing plate (the thing the torque arm is bolted to) seems to have been welded back together at some point, and the spring for the rear brake light switch is custom, too.
