I don't know if these will help you, I don't have an airbox on the 1000, these are older pics. that I already had
If these don't help, I can go take some pics. of the 900 that still has the airbox

That's how I figured it HAD to go, but it just doesn't seem right that they designed it for the wires to snake outside the frame.

I appreciate the pics

And yes, that's a bike in the laundry room. When I finish it goes back outside and the H2 comes in

Yea it does seem strange that they would.'nt have made a better routing for the harness, but it works, :)
& you're a lucky man that has a Misses that lets you use the laundry room to work on your bikes, B)

Oh yeah, she knows it though.

Finally fired it up today. It's my mutt (mostly freebies and a few paid or new items)
1980 ltd frame (kz10006) forks I got when I purchased a virago, stashed away gauges and headlight, z1 tank tail and side covers, zx636 swingarm with dual shocks, 900 drum rear, twin disk front with ex600 ninja calipers.

And yes, I guess I got used to civilized bikes like my goldwing. NO wires route outside the frame :P
