Im trying to resserect my kz900 after 22years of neglect. She started up 1st try today,(after hours of carb cleaning)YEE HAA! But i noticed when I pushed the brake peddle the tail light whent out.Any ideas would be helpfull. Thanks.

76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

sounds like a faulty switch or ground.

Check and make sure the wires are plugged into the right holes. You have three a ground "low beam" and "high beam". I had the same problem when I put on my cateye light.

I pulled all the conectors and cleaned them and cleaned the ground. It is working ok now .THANKS.
