Wanted - '79 650 Ignition Coils

Kawasaki part#'s
21121-1001 (1,4 coil)
22121-1002 (2,3 coil)

Anyone have a lead on where I can find ignition coils either new or used? Kawasaki wants a mint to order a set. Both of mine are shot.

I may have a spare set from my parts bike, they are yours for shipping costs if I do, i will try to get to the shop today or tomorrow. That bike is a 77 though, but I am pretty sure they are the same, no gaurantees that they function as I have no way to test them at this point.

That may be a possibility. I will need to research if they have the same output/mounting.

It would be best if they could be tested so I will see if anyone else chimes in. I sure don't need 4 bad coils.

The outputs should be the same. The mounting might be the same, but if it isnt it is very easy to make it work, just the distance from center to center of the studs and holes should tell you

My Kawi dealer told me they were no longer available. I found a used set on ebay at the time.

I checked the parts diagrams. 1977 thru 1980 650's all share the same part number for coils. If you don't mind taking a look at your coils and see if they are visably in good shape, I will pay for shipping and some extra. Send me a PM to make arrangements.
