Can I use any tach, speedo, and gas guage? My guage cluster got smashed when my bike fell off of a trailer and i am poor. to poor to buy the right on on eBay for 100 bucks. it's for an 84 ZN700 ltd shaft, if that helps. Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks All!!!

Quick answer would be no. I think various years have various ratios for the speedo and tach gears. Look here to find your bike, then post the part number on the forum and someone will have a cross reference match for you most likely.

Also, while many of the guages can be made to work accross the KZ line, I believe your late model may have an electronic tach. That will limit you to looking for others with the same set-up, which will only be the later model years (1983 and newer, maybe?). You could also look at the GPZ guages, since they have the electronic tach as well, I believe.
