I know alot of you have done this, heck you gave me the confidence to rebuild the starter clutch from reading all your posts. Well seems my troubles never end, I have just spent alot of $ and even more time re doing this 81 KZ650. Pulled the engine replaced starter clutch housing due to crack, replaced rollers and springs. Put it all together today, and all I get when it hit the button is a click. The only thing I can think of is I overtightned something inside the engine on that secondary shaft. If any of you have had this problem or know of someone please let me know, I unfortunatly am at my witts end. SLEEPLESS IN SAN JOSE.
