Thanks Guys,
I really learned a bunch doing that project. That's what turning your own wrenches is about isn't it?

I enjoyed writing the article too.

I'd love to be able to read afore-mentioned article ..but since this is one of the most confusing sites I've ever visited* ...I guess I'll hafta' wait for the movie.

* have No Idea what the prompts mean or what order to follow just to get somewhere ..I've managed to master the forum and that's about it.

Hey RTG,
Give up on the threaded view. Set your preference in your profile to flat view. You'll fine the forum much more understandable.
Next, don't be so quick to click. Hesitate over the first itme on any menu to actually pick one.
That should help you get around.

Also, I put a direct link in my first reply because I had a tough time finding it myself.

kzrider.com/content/view/33/11/

It seems to be in 2 different forms in 2 different places.

Hey Guys,
Yes I first put it up in the Filebase section. Then I learned that original work is supposed to go in the articles section. The article in the "Tech Tips" part of the articles area has been tuned up. I suppose I should delete the write up in the filebase. No! I like it there because that area is model specific. I'll just update that text, the photos are the same.
Sorry for the confusion.
Bill

Well I tried but I can't modify that file in the Filebase. Stein, if you'll delete it I'll upload the new version.
Thanks
Bill

Thanks alot for posting that. Too bad I can't post sarcasm in internet.... After seeing the pics of your bike in the article, a strange thing keeps happening. This telephone magically appears in my hand calling my friend to see if he still wants to sell me his 1300........ Thanks alot. Real cool.

Thanks, I thought it was just me or my wind-up computer. Still haven't found the article/ tech-tip. I will find it when I have more time. Look forward to reading it. Haven't tried Loudhvx's links yet!
I'll have to set preferences to Flat View?

To get to "technical tips" you have to click on the "articles" tab itself, not on the drop-down list it generates.

See Stein has been busy at work again bwhahahaha... Before when you clicked on Articles, you just got articles instead of a pulldown which has a link to the Galery and Filebase. As the loud one noted, just click on Articles else you will be off on a wild goose chase. I have been asked to put some things in there but really haven't had time as yet but hope to soon. For RTG who finds this site confusing... well that is the charm of it! Only the truly undaunted can find his/her way through Stein's traps and snares hehe KZCSI - There is a set of 1300 six banger coils on eBay right now if you want a spare set...
