Gummy carbs...

Ok, my 1000 will finally be getting it's rotor/starter clutch back this weekend, however, it's sat for nearly 3 months w/o running, and I'm sure my carbs will be gummed up. I will only have a few hours to get the beast going, so anyone know any quick carb cleaning techniques? I'd like to avoid diassembling them if at all possible.

You should be ok at 3 months. I'd just run it. Of course drain the bowls, add fresh gas then see what happens.

All the same, is is safe to just spray carb cleaner in thru the fuel line?

Not really. If you have the plastic type floats, it may soften them up and cause more headaches. Some carb cleaners (Spray bottle) can be pretty harsh and also eat O-rings.
If you can put a mixture of gas and Techron (or other fuel system cleaner) try that. Most of the times a bike would need to sit longer than 3 months to get gummed up (MOST OF THE TIMES)
