I'm in need of a carb part to complete a rebuild the dealer says is no longer in production.

Anyone have info on where to source the part either NOS or used.

Need:

Mikuni Jet needle #Y-9 (goes to a Carb BS34 off '83 kz750L3)

I checked Sudco and they only have up to Y-8.

Thanks

Y-9 is the SIZE of a Mikuni needle jet. Not a jet needle. I think it would also help if you got the rest of the markings which are called the "badge" which indicate which type needle jet (for the application) or Kaw part number. Many needle jets, which on your carbs are combined with the main jet holders, are no longer available and you MIGHT find Y-8 sized (would work fine) or a similar sub. I would try bikebandit.com as they are most likely to have NOS stock of this sort. www.z1enterprises.com may also be able to find NOS stock. I don't carry or sell parts, sorry.
