CV34 throttle linkage was created by Wookie58
One for you carb guys. My 82Ltd has a single throttle cable, I am using a ZX6R throttle assembly which can accommodate twin cables so my question is do any of the CV34 set ups use twin cables that I could try and source a linkage from ?

I've never seen twin cables for CV carbs.  Just stick with the one cable and keep it simple.

Dual cables are pretty silly anyway, since the carbs have a strong spring to close the butterflies and/or slides anyway.  What's even more silly, is "push pull" cables, since cables can't push anything.  They are pull open, and pull closed, but the closed part is assisted by a strong spring

The KZP I'm working on has both and they don't fit very well.

Hey Steve, those cop bike carbs are simple one cable, not two.

They have two cables. One pull the other return.

Partzilla shows two throttle cables for the P bikes, with one set of part numbers for the 1982 - 2000 bikes, and a different pair of numbers for the 2001 - 2005 models.

The KZ1000C copcycles, 1978 - 1981, also show two throttle cables with yet another set of numbers. Sheesh.

I stand corrected on the cables.  Didn't see the other cable holder in Steve's photo.

The way they're fitted the cables go on a sharp angle to the pullies. Tried other ways but no soap.

You would need both the bracket and the pulley, which attaches to one of the throttle shafts.  It wouldn't surprise me if the throttle shaft is different too.

BTW, "CV34" is the nomenclature of the Keihin carbs used on the 750 family of bikes.  Most of the bigger bikes, used Mikuni BS34's.

I wonder if the different sets of cables have different angles on the ends?
