I just installed a set on the 28’s I did for wheelhop. The bowl caskets seemed to big. They didn’t lay correct in the carb body. The top chamber I didn’t like at all, to soft of a rubber and they squished out from under the cap bad. Personally I wouldn’t use them again. Zed1015 Has a friend that sells Viton rubber ones. I’m going to try them next time.

Edit, the bowls didn’t leak I’m just am not a big fan

I couldn’t get the link to insert so I copied the entire post.  www.kzrider.com/forum/3-carburetor/61790...n-float-bowl-gaskets

Thanks.  And thanks for the link. Those are the same ones I was looking at.  They're missing one hole for my application, although I don't think the orifice on my carburetors is drilled so it probably wouldn't matter.  But I'll stick with stock type then. Thanks again.

Stock OEM = 11009-1562

Maybe contact Aire Valley and ask if he can punch them for you

Edit, Keyster sells them also. You’d have to contact them and ask to buy the gasket separately.

Keyster rubber bowl gasket Article No.: YFCG-27R covers 24/26/28 VM carb sets last longer and are re-useable.

I don't like the idea of rubber float bowl gaskets.  For one thing, the rubber will squeeze out under clamp load.  And the screw torque will drop off with time.  Reminds me of Real Gaskets, a company that sells silicone valve cover gaskets for GS Suzuki's.  If the screws are tightened any more than finger tight, the gasket squirms out of place.  I don't think a VM bowl gasket will do that, because the bowl sits inside a recess in the carb body, but still.

No way,Nessim! I use these rubber gaskets for four years now and had change the jets multiple times for tuning reassons. They fit perfect and seals anyway till now (E5 and E10 fuel)!
